A driver with only a year of experience they will check the dates from swift and Schneider if they use hire rite i.e. DAC there easy to check to see if they match.know if the company checking doesn't mind he's had two driving jobs his first year off driving don't think they would hold it against him if he didn't have them exactly right they probably just have him re enter the right dates
-
Most good local companies do not use the DAC.
Secondly the exact dates would only be noticed if a gap did appear. If someone noticed the different dates, chances are they would cause no concern unless their was a gap that "human resources" pencil pusher could make an issue of. -
Being able to lie is only important if you want to deceive someone.
How is that a 'very important' part of trucking, or any other job?
Unless you are a politician maybe.
And even making that statement shows that you are not to be trusted in any kind of life position. -
The only time I was caught lying was when I said I hit a deer. Safety said, "The deer must have been wearing a shirt and pants then."TripleSix, DoubleO7, Thull and 1 other person Thank this.

I don't know if local companies use DAC or not where did you get that information from? If they don't they will call the previous company for the dates but like I said earlier if your dates aren't exactly right probably not that big of deal as long as it's not way off where the new company doesn't think your trying to deceive themThull Thanks this.

I think a local company would be more worried about if you can drive & how clean your record is more then a tiny gap in employment.

Mr @Thull, you are on the top end of drivers with your experience level. You don't have to lie to go to the next level.
Luck in battle. -
Thanks a lot!
