Up until a week ago, I was pulling mostly empty trailers (really light) through PA and NJ on I-81.
The wind gusts were pretty strong, so I slowed down significantly as did most other vans on the road that day.
Anyway, has anyone here ever gotten pushed off the road or into another vehicle bc of wind?
This got me thinking about that:
Watch that wind

Was blown over once west of Chicago heading toward Rochelle. A storm got so bad everyone stopped on the highway. So I was stationary, but the wind still shoved me over.

I have seen empty trucks laying on their side after a windstorm went through I 35. High wind signs are posted, along with a couple of wind farms nearby.

There is a section in the forums of trucking accidents. These videos i believe are there.
Seems like everytime i come across something. Truck burnt down on I65s in lower indiana or the jacknifed trailers and wiggle wagons on I-74 in IL after rain and temp drops at night. I there never seems to be anything that pops up in the news. Or the oversize that got snarled up in traffic lights by the GM plant off the ohio turnpike. There were alot of troopers at that one.
