Daf, that's crazy looking. That's one way to ensure you always have freight on the trailer!

Trailers like that one are the most used in Europe.
I like the way you open the roof.

One thing I've always wondered about them tarp systems.
How does it work if your parked overnight at the shipper/receiver and you get 8-10" of snow on top? Can you still open/close it or do you have to drive around and blow the snow off?

    cke Thanks this.

If the ones I used, as you open the snow would just slid off the sides as the vinyl folds., Usually a good idea to watch yourself Incase any of it melted then refroze into ice

cke and Old Iron Thank this.

If you're able to walk inside a broom to the underside will knock it off.

Most of the time it's easier for me then opening the tarp. The one time I've had to clear ice it didn't fall when I opened the tarp. Just stood up in the tarp. That's when I thought of that method.

Old Iron and Gunner75 Thank this.

If hauling ocean going containers is part of your gig you will have to make sure that inside height on your conestoga is a minimum 103" and make sure they install the rounded corner supports not the normal supports.
