Did you check with Pittsburgh Power I hear their manifold for the 60 series is really good and alot better then the stock ones
-
I just was looking at shnidertrucksale, on those claimed to be a glider trucks , just wandering what's make them to be a glider if posted with dd15 epr 10
-
You're not looking at a glider if it has a dd15. Do a search for Columbia glider. They all have the 2002 series 60 .
-
Search for glider on truck paper gives you all snider trucks
-
Truckpaper isn't updated as often as the schneider trucks website. The most up to date inventory is on schneider trucks.

I saw something posted about the service interval on those trucks.... it made me cringe .
Can't remember what it was tho ... -
No, just cleaned up the stock one and painted it. Might start some modifications in the future, for now just getting it comfy and working great.NinjaWax Thanks this.

It takes half of the life to learn all the slow customers. I'v been in the business 10 years, know a lot of them, still getting burned, especially in slow season like now, in hunt for a good paying load, it might turn over not to be as good as it looked, I run my own authority, and really pick the freight my self

I'm thinking to buy a glider also. I did work for Schneider long time ago. I did school with them , and then hired as a driver. They had classes in Green Bay, WI.
Yeap..... made #### money for 6 months and then jumped to work for an owner operator.
My check tripled. Paid my school to, $3500 I think , collection was calling daily. Contract was for a year.
It was different time before, we were rocky's and constantly getting abused by others on the road.
When I switched the truck, the abused stoped.
Hehehehehe hehehehe hehehehe.
Anyway I remember I had my truck at Schneider , was a 2004 Columbia, good truck , with mid 400k miles. They will advise you, to stop by the shop to change oil, whenever you can.
So I did couple of times, different locations, and they all telling me that I don't have to change the oil, the interval was 40,000 miles.
I was shocked. And it was this constant battle between office and shop, and me in the middle. The office , the dispatch , the guy that was assign to me at dispatch was keep checking with me if I change the oil, because he didn't see a PM in his computer. And I was telling him that I stoped at the shop and the shop refused to do it. I was getting frustrated by this. The oil was black and I was adding oil every 2k-3k miles. And it was nothing I can do. I talked with other drivers. Not all had same experience like me.
I think somebody give me the idea , I don't think I .... because I was thinking a lot what to do.
Anyway , one time I stopped at the shop , I say shop is the terminal , you have shower, ...
I lied about the miles, I said that I have more miles on the truck.
That was the only way I could get the oil changed, because they would not take the truck. So , when I went to the shop, and ask for PM, the guy at the desk asked what is the mileage, and I lied, I said I have xxx. Then the guy took all my info and said to leave the key inside truck and all that.
That was lame , but I discovered a way to do it, to get the oil changed. And it worked.
True story!!!
