They are nice, got a friend who collects them, he grew up in NYC and his brother owned a taxi company so when he got a chance to grab one that was going to be scrapped, he did. He has about a dozen of them, down from I think 20. His everyday driver is a Cream/Green 1969 Marathon that he reworked the entire body from bumper to bumper, put in a new drive train, A/C and modern dash - it is a nice looking car. He also has a '61 Superba that he used to use and is in his shop being worked on. He bought the checker that my neighbor ordered in 1971, it is a wagon with a diesel and a four speed.
