Awe crap ... another of the good ones gone.

He was always one of my favourite actors, but not because of his acting. Paul's real passion was car racing. In fact, he once said that the only reason he was an actor was because it gave him the money and time in order to race cars.

That and the fact that he had a stable, long-term marriage and gave a tremendous amount back.

    RIP Paul.

My first "crush" as a girl was on Paul Newman. I also loved how he always spoke about his wife Joanne Woodward. I loved his interview last year when he kept talking about how beautiful and sexy she is.

    May he rest in peace.

I dont think he ever made a bad movie!

I also liked "Hombre," many are not familiar with, but he played a half-breed Indian (not much dialogue!), with the bad guys being a classic Mexican character actor (?)..."Hey Hombre, ju choot me," and Richard Boone of Paladin TV fame. One of several movies that he made where he dies at the end...

    R.I.P. Paul...

What was it he said in Hombre? "We all die, it's just a question of when." It's a very sad day, and he will be missed very much.
