If a issue on chassis is found when returning it to the RR and they charge your company does that get taken out of your settlements?

Never seen that happen. But today i has a drop/hook. The loaded trl the landing gear had structural damage. So i made em unload n reload it. Anyone ever deal with this? How do u go about raising the landing gear. There was no way to rehook the handle btw. I was curious if i had been in a drop lot what would i have done

Hourly container gig aint bad. Home every day, no touch.
Just gotta a find the right company that will pay you and give you good benefits.
Don't take advantage of the fact that its hourly, and dispatch will become your best friend. -
I'm at Central States in Chicago, our corporate safety/recruiting is in Joliet - I can ask for ya. local safety gal is a boob but recruiters are nice

Pulling containers requires PATIENCE, more than anything else. I also don't plan on doing this long term (flatbed is my primary choice), but for now, containers fit the bill $$$ wise and family wise.....from what I've seen OTR is simply not paying a premium to justify it.....
LTL carriers seem to be a great option for company work, If I ever sell the truck, I would also consider it.....
PS......4noReason, you bought a DEF truck aganst most of the advice on this site...., but even then, understand, these trucks break almost once a month (as a company driver, I drove brand new Freightshakers, Petes and Kw's......they all broke down more than the older trucks ( and repairs are WAY more expensive).....WHY do you think so many companies (including Schneider) buy gliders.....i
