And your questions are, what?
-
How is roehls equipment and training
-
I hear if you go with them all their trucks are automatics and if you decide to leave them you will be restricted to driving a manual truck. It will be harder to find another job because 90% of the company's out there have manual trucks
-
Im not a huge fan of that. Id rather be trained on stick. I know of a few companies that train on stick even if some of the trucks are automatic that they use. Some companies have both autos and sticks
-
I'm sorry I read your thread wrong. It is maverick that has the auto fleet. I'm not sure about roehls trucks sorry for the mix up.

You train on a Eaton Fuller 10 speed. Their current trucks for training are International Prostar Plus. You are committed to 125K miles or repay the cost of training. CDL training is 4 weeks long then you go out for 10 to 14 days with a road trainer. If you want or think you need more training they will give you more one on one training. Pay will be tight for the first 4 to 6 months then you will start to make decent money.
The key to good miles 2500 to 3000+ per week is communicate, communicate, communicate. Don't complain, ##### or whine, be available when they need you and run when you should be running. In other words, don't spend 16 hours of a 10 hour break playing video games in a truck stop.
