did you let dispatch know just incase some #### comes back and they try to blame you? lol, funny coincidence, had something like this like two weeks ago. told them, they're like "hmmph, oh well, you managed, you good? if so, bounce" lol! the type of responses i get from them are funny sometimes

Just told jay hey the drop is damaged so imma have them transload it. Before i leave customer goes "dont damage this one now." I just look at him like what? I sure hope i dont get blamed

You guys seen them schneider chassis. Jb hunt n schneider now. Nice.

 

SNI is flooding the market with their own chassis for the next couple months. They want to be out of the trac contract by summer. Chicago is the last market, they waited since is a lot more complicated then any other market. Friend of mine is making good money just moving chassis around, otherwise he'd be slow.

 

Why is so slow haven't seen it like this in 4 years ? I know the Chinese New Year and all but even the shippers here been dry

 

It's way too early to feel the effects of Chinese New year. It just started Jan 27, so it takes 6-8 weeks to start to feel the effects. I'm guessing it's just that time of year and industry. My old company is swamped and can't keep up, but come end of June- mid August, they'll be complaining there's no work.

My buddy at SNI says it's always like this, but he works the x-town board, so if the West coast is slow it effects him. I heard that the local & regional guys are running their butts off and can't keep up, so go figure.

 

Talk about a mood changer. Got down to Indy at 6am to get loaded. Took 2 hours to load, drive 1 hour towards Chicago only to get a call that they loaded the wrong product and I have to go back to get unloaded-reloaded Why on a Friday in February when the temperature is in the 60s? Why not monday? So much for getting off at noon to enjoy the weather
