Note 5. And mine won't. Must be a sprint thing.

Can't say.
I have VZW. -
Lol.
I used over 100 gigs last month.Hurst Thanks this. -
What service is that? All I ever asked about was hotspot,.. how much data,.. and what will it cost. The only additional thing I opted for later through their website was what they called their safety overage feature,.. which throttle folks back to pretty low speeds. I opted out of that and let them bill me $15 per 1gb I went over on my plan.
Never asked or checked off on anything that allowed or disallowed using hotspot and voice at the same time.

I think he is blowing hot air. But I am curious if there is any truth to what he is saying. I've never heard of it personally.

Those maps are made by people with the APP. The maps are created and constantly updated automatically by the app from people like me,.. like you.. and any one else from any of those 4 primary carriers.
So what you think you may know,.. and what they are showing are obviously 2 different things. The app doesnt randomly draw data that isnt there. Its either working for that specific carrier or its not. Then draws the map accordingly.
So you mean to tell me that you know more than thousands of people? They are all wrong? And its just you who I should trust? Come on man,.. lets be realistic here.
I personally run all 48 and I have pretty good experience of where Verizon works,.. and where it doesnt work. I'm not here to fool anyone or convince them of anything that isnt true or anything I cant back up.

I don't remember exactly which model, but originally it was only the iPhone that could talk and surf. AT&T still had the exclusive at that time, so it was a while ago. I believe it was the iPhone 4 that broke that exclusivity in and around 2010. I don't know when other models acquired the talk and surf feature but not all phones have the capability.

That link covers it pretty well, and since you've claimed in previous posts to be technically able, you shouldn't need a break down.
It explains why the same model phone will do talk and surf on one network, but not another. And it explains why I am unable to do so with my current Galaxay Note 5 but some are. I'm with Sprint, a CDMA/LTE network.

I have no idea what service 4g is. I don't recall signing up for talk and surf. With either carrier. And I don't recall paying for the feature. it was automatic with both carriers. And I could Netflix on my laptop while making calls.
I don't care about your 48 states.
There's Wyoming red that holds true with the note 2. Not true with the s6.
There's California green that had no service with either phone. And no green where sprint worked. And I spent 3 years doing mostly California.
