I don't care if you have squared toed ### kicking boots, a black Stetson and a pair of worn Levi's with your nuts hanging out. If I see you get behind the wheel of that I am going to LMFAO. What do you want me to do? As I said, to each their own.

    Now, can we stop threadjacking?

My response was in relation to accelarated charge loss due temp drop ....not annoying V8 noise v.s serene, soothing silence electric motors....lol

Back to @STexan's question about battery life vs. outside temp

Actually, my electric bill went up by $15/month...which is less than what me & wifey spend on a single take-out meal. But I'm not too worried...to each, his own.

Same reason I fancy Volvo and dislike Petes (or prefer KW and dislike Internationals) and I'm indifferent to Freightshakers.

Now, can we get back (AND STAY) ON TOPIC PLEASE??

Never said this issue with my Iphone but I did I did have it with my Ipad before I put my otterbox on it. You have it on your hip. On its own or in a case? Maybe just put it in your pocket or coat?

My daughter told me a couple of weeks ago that they have some type of safety mechanism that shuts them down when they get cold. I noticed it on an Iphone 6 Plus.

I don't know the reasoning for it. I normally carry mine in my shirt pocket so I hadn't had that happen before. I had layed it on the dash after using it as a calculator while doing paperwork and forgot to take it in.

I would like to know the temperature parameters, will look in the manual when I have time.

I have a Droid Turbo 2. It was a bit sluggish at -8. My pants have pockets on the side of the legs that I keep it in so it did get cold while tarping a load.

Don't them cars cost like 40 grand or more? The money you save in fuel I wouldn't think justifies paying that kinda coin.

    rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

And just wait till its a few years old and starts needing servicing. Kinda like the first gen dpf trucks and egr only engines a few years prior.

    jtaran06 and rabbiporkchop Thank this.
