I think I'm reaching burnout. I've been working 6 day weeks for a long time. I've been with my current employer almost 18 years, with driving since late 1994. I have the easiest, most convenient schedule to be had where I am at. If you've overcome 'burnout' by something other than quitting, I'd like to hear how you did that?
Who has defeated 'burnout'? How?

Honestly, I take a week or two off whenever I start feeling burnt out. Luckily the way my work is now I get from just before Christmas till late Feb off. Usually when I start back up in late Feb, early March, I'm ready to get back at it. Sometimes you just need to step away for a while. But that's just me.

Communication is the key. If you don't have a discussion with someone the only person to blame is yourself. I've experienced the same thing, but I had to make a change.
