Does anyone have any experience doing the lease trainer position?
The offer sounds pretty solid. The biggest downfall is paying the student .09 a mile to the company. But hey its better then paying a employee .45 to run with me. They charge .13 a mile for maintenence that goes to crst. This covers anything and everything no matter what breaks even towing. Fixed expenses are 750 a week and they average 1.45 to the contractor. They also claim 1800 profit off of 3500 miles and 3000 profit off of 5000 miles. What am I missing or is it a solid job? I have read a lot about crst and your success depends on your dm. Any insight would be helpful from current or past lease trainers thanks

I'm a a little confused. What I get out of this is when you turned the truck in they charged you 5500? For what.. condition of the truck early termination without 2 weeks notice? Do you mind elaborating?

Why did you turn the truck in after 1 load? That doesn't seem like enough time to give a company an honest attempt

Sure it was, if you are told that you can book you're load from there load broad which I did, so I called one of there agent book a load from the agent and was later told i cannot run that load, I then ask why not, because we have crst customer that must be covered, OK sure what is that load paying, well it's paying 950 to oh from sc, OK so let's go back, the agent load was paying 1900 to the truck, so I ask him why would I pass up a 1900 load to pull a 900 load, I was then told its in the best interest for crest Malone, and you will pull that load. OK little boy, sure master I will work for a1000 less going miles apart, so my master load my card to buy fuel and I did, buy just enough to get me to Atlanta, turn in there and keep it moving after 3 weeks of hunting for a truck that could start lol

I worked for CRST about three years ago. A buddy and me decided what the heck lets go. he trained with an owner operater , and at that time the owner operator was doing quite well. I believe they were being paid around 75% of the load plus surcharge. I could be way off base though
