All this time waiting for an annswer you can go to google or yahoo

I'd run this way from Burlington...there are some ferries but I doubt very much they can handle trucks.
I-89 north to VT-78 west to US-11 (in NY), to I-87 south. Road atlas (you do have one, right?) doesn't list any low-clearances or restricted routes this way. Watch your turns, a wrong turn may put you into a US/Canada border crossing.
Anyone else care to chime in? Oh and google/yahoo aren't reliable for trucks due to not listing restricted routes or low clearances, but you knew that already

I would think he's there already, but that's the way, I-89 north to exit 21, Vt. route 78 west through Swanton, to US 2 west, over the Rouses Point bridge, US11 south to I-87 south. About two hours from Burlington to Plattsburg. The ferry from Grand Isle Vermont to Cumberland Head NY. cost about $35.00. US 2 through the islands is not approved route for 53' trailers.
