Smart CB ?

It must of went up.

 

Dunno any of the specifics, other than the fine was only $150 or so to the driver..not sure if the co. got anything, most likely a mark on their safety rating, which raises insurance cost.. The fines listed must be "up to".. depending on state, accident or no, drivers record..etc? Idk

 

I had the bluetooth version..same issue..Useless..

 

Don't bother. POS. I bought one 3 weeks ago and regretted it ever since. First the Bluetooth went out, got that fixed, but it only works when it wants to. Today it took a crap. It can still transmit and receive, but I can't change channel, the display doesn't work at all, and it's stuck on all the time, so everything except the lcd display is lit up. The jobs still work except the channel one, and none of the buttons on the mic work. $200 paperweight after 3 weeks. Never buying cobra again.

 

Its not cobra in general,although they are not as good as they used to be..

This is my Smart CB. Only thing smart about it, is it's the smallest CB on the market, but don't let the size fool you. It'll talk with the bigger radios. Paired up with a Texas Star DX500, a Sirio 5000 antenna and a Vertex MLS-100 speaker, and I've got a kicking set up.

 

well I bought one like a week ago and it works perfect for me it does work I was in North Carolina and there was a tornado warning and the CB was off and it actually start making this noise so I got up and turned it on and it went right to the Weather Channel and I heard all about the tornado turned on my TV on the news and there was a tornado warning and I can hear everybody pretty clear I mean it all depends on the kind of antenna you got as long as you got a good antenna you can hear everything and if you are going to make a phone call that's why the radio comes with a external microphone so people can hear you clearly if you don't got that on you can still use your mic on the CB but is not that clear I mean personally speaking I fell in love with it and I do got a Cobra 29 LTD Classic but I like this one more I still got mine and the back of the sleeper just in case

 

Hell anything with an amp will get out...Only smart thing about my.radio is.........ME!!

 

Idk but it works pretty fine for me if you come down to it it's all about the looks like I said before the radio doesn't matter it's all about the antenna as long as you got a good antenna you can have a $10 radio and you can talk and listen as clear as day
