I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume we're ALL lazy then. Cuz WE ALL float shift.
The only reason the clutch is there.
Stopping and reverse. Forward. And the occasional can't get it out of gear.

oh sorry, I edited mine post to say just kidding. let me up now.
-
To the OP, go for it.
I think if anyone else had bothered to actually read what you said, they'd probably still have their panties in a bunch. I'm too lazy and suck at shifting to bother with it. -
Maybe you do.
SOME of us do it the RIGHT way.
snowwy Thanks this. -
yep thats why you have a big right leg ,and a tiny left leg.
-
My left leg swings the kickstand. It's bigger then the right leg.

Come on, that was uncalled for. I could make several assumptions about you, but that generally shuts down civilized discourse. Lets not take a page from the book of sore loosers.Bean Jr. and PermanentTourist Thank this.

to be honest, I've moved a 10 speed around in a parking lot, thats about it. I just have my Class B, and drive a automatic all day.
but one guy who was a OTR driver, has his Class A, told me about slip shifting. and it can be done in a regular truck, in this case a f-250. -
Well, he's right about one thing. The situation of rookies training other rookies while being ran as a team operation is unsettlingly common.
Good trainers deserve to be paid at a premium.Hammer166 Thanks this. -
I would advise against doing that in a synchronized transmission such as that found in a pickup truck. Synchronizers do not take kindly to that.Bean Jr. Thanks this.
