I still have my Centramatic and its a good unit. I have had to have some repairs over time but I've had it about 4 yrs now. Mainly if you just change the filters it will perform well. Solid reliable engine made by Kubota You probably won't find all that many on the road as they are not looking to flood the market with them. I do all my cooking with it and it has its own Cool AC and heat. Any technical questions or maintenance call Hugh or Derek. at their facility in Alvarado TX Thx

Can I ask, what size is your sleeper and on a VERY HOT day (95-100) will the A/C maintain something like 70-72?

 

i have a 70" sleeper and on hot days i draw the center curtain thats behind the seats to reduce the space that needs to be cooled and that helps a lot. Otherwise it can still remain hot around 80deg but YMMV. I've even idled the engine a few minutes to get rid of the hot air quicker.

 

Thanks again! TO be clear I get an accurate picture of the cooling capabilities.... When very hot outside PRECOOLING the sleeper is highly recommended/necessary. Assuming you can get the (70") sleeper into the low 70's with the engine, will the Centramatic APU then be able to maintain that until the afternoon/evening when the outside temp drops?
