Does anyone know how to cause my 2017 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution to idle? There is a sign posted on the driver's door frame that says..."Truck will not idle between 35 - 68 F". This causes me much trouble beyond staying warm.

No wonder their drivers screw up so much. Drivers can't get a comfortable rest period and when they work, they're exhausted, hence the dumb decisions.

    Naw, that's not it.....

Try putting weight on accelerator peddle....leave it there ...then start truck...peddle has to be against floor...stay there and not move at all

Jack drive tires in air. Release tractor brakes. Put in 1st gear. Let out clutch. Enjoy your rest.

LOL its 2017 freightliner. You can't trick em anymore. When I used to work for Werner. I used to engage my clutch with a fifth wheel puller and went to bed lol.

What i did at England same setup was I would but handwarmers about a buck apiece at Walmart and put them around the ambient temperature sensor sensor.... Should be behind the driver side convex mirror I used a sock to insulate it... Could keep my truck running all I wanted
