Window Reflections

What I have done was cover certain areas with a dark cloth.I know depending on the day and where you're at it can be hard to see and extra reflections don't make it any easier.

 

If you're talking about daytime glare, wear a good pair of polarized sunglasses. In the photography world, polarizing lenses are used to get rid of glare on a window so you can shoot something on the other side of the glass.

 

Keep your dash clear of any papers or junk. DOT loves to pull over drivers with garbage all over their dash. I am the same way with reflections, wash the windshield inside and out every day.

 

I'm reading all this and I can't believe it's even an issue. I mean, seriously? Is this a real problem? I've driven 7-8 different types of trucks over all my years and I can honestly say that it's not an issue.

 

During the day it's not an issue, but after 4 hours or so at night it starts to become one somewhat. It's just much easier on the eyes for me personally at night when the inside has a low glow, it does help cut the glare of oncoming headlights a lot personally.... but my eyes are old.

 

At night, as long as you keep the instrument light intensity turned way down, black out any other lights such as CB radio, phone, etc, and don't have any dome lights or lights on in the sleeper, I just can't see how this is a problem.

 

Oh its a real issue in my cabover no doubt! You get used to it and learn to see past them and roll down windows if ya need!

Sometimes in PA if it is super dark your brain 100% can not tell real from reflection! I am in a &*%$&$ rubiks cube made of glass!

 

Sometimes at nite reflections are a real problem. I usyally have to roll down the windows.
