$16000 is an awful lot for insurance.
-
Yeah i have a good friend who is going to get me work.
-

-

So you think the 3 weeks out with your friend was enough to know and now you wanna buy a trk and run on your own huh?Three weeks isn't even a beginning of how much you need to know.I do admire your determination though but it looks like you're going to have to get some exp before insurance will cover your trk.Protein Hauler and cke Thank this.

Is your insurance obtainable.......yes, but given no CDL Experience (less than 12 months), new venture, new DOT # etc, you hit just about all our "price" factors.....consequently for $ 1MM liability, $ 30K UM, $ 25K Trailer Interchange, $ 25,000 Phys Dam on tractor and $ 100K cargo I come up with $ 45,000......
cke Thanks this. -
Yeah i know im jumping into the deep end of the pool. But my 2 good friends did exactly that. Although they only do local. They both got their truck after getting cdl and started driving.

Correct, the company I used to lease under wouldn't take anyone on unless they had 2 years experience and a clean record.
