You think it's good money and then earlier you said it's not. Very confusing.

If you're haven't seen the fb page, its worse than a union hall gripe session! The older drivers have done so much for us in their grass roots and we must never forget that....................................

I let fb go not too long ago.

It's reinforced when FB community standards ban people for holding onto values that once built America.

Social media has gotten into the toilet. If i was working for walmart as a driver I would have no interest in FB and TTR would be as far as I would take it.

I once worked for a auction house and quietly sat there watching the crew snipe and take pot shots at each other talking about that FB stuff they wrote about each other at home on time off. I was a crew boss and sometimes had to tell them leave that stuff in the break room, you are on company time here with me around I don't need the drama. Or you can join the next crew over. They were a good crew. but it was in the early years of FB back in the 2000's and frankly I saw it as a form of poison eating away at the crew spirit of working together as a team when they sit home writing bad things to one another on time off.

Finally but not last. I suspect Social Media and their owners in general which is about less than a dozen very large companys here in these United States would prefer to try and create a different country within a country and silence those whose values are not shared by those. I draw the line and refuse to help them do that.

The internet is wonderful for gaming etc. But it is not necessary to living a good life.

If you're not a Walmart driver you won't even catch a peak. To join is about as difficult as being hired onto Walmart.

The money they pay is nothing compared to other companies that pay more and your home most nights. With no slip seating envolved. And yes it's decent money as most companies only want to pay 52k-55k a year for the same type of work.

But Sam Walton is the only reason why the pay is where it is. If it were up to some at wmt these days they pay would be lower.

Are you still scratching your head?

It's not that hard to get on with walmart any more. They have lowered there standards. You should see some of the ppl they have hired. And plz don't think of me as a senior driver looking dwn on newbies.

But everyone doesn't present professionalism. And as a whole society is far different these days. So ppl that go abt life the ole school way. Aren't into the new school way. Some ppl tuck there shirt in while others sag there pants and keep there shirt tail out

Not to disagree, but I don't know if any dispatch offices that have c.b. radios in them. And if I'm not mistaken, Porter doesn't have any private fleet drivers assigned there. They may flow through to pickup loads that are preloaded. I seriously doubt you heard WM drivers openly using foul language on a radio that they know can be monitored by anybody in the building.
