I don't, but I've seen guys do. I saw a beer driver wearing one so it's not totally uncommon. I can't think of anyone at our yard though that wears one.

Alright everyone it's the end of the first quarter lets see where we are in the game. As it's time to check the numbers.
So far for this year I have (4) 23 codes and (1) Non Written which isn't good, but we all screw up sometimes.
I have also delivered 42,600 cases or something like that so far this year as the first quarter ends.
I did get some kind of bonus, and because it's the new year I earned some vacation time 20 hours. If I manage to work another year with no time off like I am doing this year which will probably be the case next year then after next year I will have 4 weeks of vacation or something like that. Any how at least I got my first 20 hours!Cardfan89 Thanks this. -

Well later on that day another driver on another route finds a case of widgets that is supposed to be on my route.
When he gets back in he punches in the computer that he found widgets for route 7309 on route 5670. So what happens is now it's flagged that I said I didn't deliver something when I said I did and that's called a non-written because I didn't bother to write it up. Non-writtens are not good because that means you lose your accuracy bonus for the year.
23 code is product not on truck generally if you punch that they assume you delivered the product to someone else.
Now the one thing with 23 codes is say I do a stop and am missing a case of widgets and punch a 23 code on that case of widgets. And then later in the day a driver on route 7450 find the widgets that are supposed to be on my route. Well that changes everything because the product was found on another route and it really wasn't on my truck like I said it wasn't. When that happens the 23 code I entered gets erased, the driver who found that case of widgets gets $2.00 for finding them on his route and the warehouse then gets dinged.
Actually I've made a few bucks finding miss loaded stuff on my trailer, it doesn't happen everyday, but every now and then it does happen. -
