I've done 2 loads for them and probably won't do another one. The last one was really hot but they wanted to pay $600 on a 250 mile tarp load. The guy kept calling me throughout the day and was getting desperate. He finally said, "man, I promised them I would get it moved today, name your rate". I told him $1300 and he agreed but kept saying that I'm taking advantage of him and just being very rude in general. The money was good for a short trip but it wasn't worth dealing with them. I'd put NO TQL on my truck postings and still get a few calls a day. I finally blocked their number and they pretty much stopped but sometimes they will call from a non TQL number
TQL credit rating

Funny how they can insult you with a rate that doesn't even cover your time invested and that's perfectly normal and OK. However when you do as he asked and named a price you were being rude.
Hahahaha! It's a company that profits millions a day and he's whining about losing what to them amounts to chump change on one little load. I remind them of that when they whine.
Not that they care but it does make them stop whining like a little girl, gather themselves, and get back to business. If the customer is any good they lost... nothing....HopeOverMope Thanks this. -
Yeah it got old fast. Most of my calls went like this:
TQL: Hey we have a load of lumber at 48k that needs 8ft tarps. Seattle to Portland, we have $400 on 175 miles
Me: No, that's too low for me
TQL: What do you mean? That's over $2.25 a mile!
Me: It's not worth my time
TQL: But it's $2.28 a mile!
Then he would ask me what I wanted, I would give him some high number and he'd either get pissed or laugh at me.HotH2o, passingthru69 and BoostedTeg Thank this. -
It would be in your best interest to avoid TQL at this point. To continue to pull loads for them is equal to tossing dice for payment. A "C" rating can mean 1 of 3 possibilities: 1. Substantial risks 2. Extremely speculative 3. Default imminent, none of which is a positive sign. If true, TQL is one step from full default.

That's kinda what I'm getting at? They must not be paying someone?
-
That's what I was thinking? That's a whole bunch of freight that will be available. And they are going to start having a hard time covering there stuff.
My question was more a fact of weather or not it was true? I can't look on the board at the moment to verify. -

What is their credit rating? Is that a credit report? Something different than the attachment below? According to DAT they are still rated at 100 and 31 days to pay.

Maybe the pay carriers all right, but don't pay to their creditors as good.
