I see a lot of beautiful trucks on the road.
Some are downright awesome.
My complements to the designers and builders.
That being said, there is one small issue.
A lot of those trucks and even a bunch of the not do good looking trucks are running straight pipes anywhere from 6 to 10 inches.
That's fine.
Some actually sound pretty incredible like sitting in a Nassar race.
But you boys need a stiff dose of common sense.
Coming into a truckstop or rest area in the late morning, afternoon, or early evening with your jake brakes on so you can hear the leg pipes roar is one thing.
When you come into those areas after 8 or 9 pm, use common sense and turn the Jakes off.
Most truckstops border residential areas, and usually after 9 pm a lot of drivers are trying to sleep.
They don't need to hear the amplified Jakes a quarter mile away as you come rolling off of the interstate and when you roll into the truckstops.
Let the boys sleep.

The drivers who do that, have no regard for anyone but themselves. They're right up there with the guy that leaves his full pizz jug and other trash behind in his parking spot, because he is too lazy to use a trash can. A main factor why more and more businesses don't want a semi in their lot. It's my opinion, of course...

hey 'handy...you get held upside down over toilets in school a lot?

Not hardly. Lettered in Track and Football.
But I was raised in the south where for the most part they still teach their kids respect for themselves and others.
We were always taught to think before acting because a good decision has rewards and a bad decision has consequences.A21CAV, daf105paccar, thejackal and 4 others Thank this. -
I think its about being selfish, having no manners. I saw some drivers who couldnt find a parking spot and left the truck stop with blowing his horn. There are a lot of examples for this kind of attitude. As long as they remain in business, truckers will not gain any respect from outsiders.
sourdiesel Thanks this. -
Probably down south high school education program isn't best. Should know Albert Einstein law.
Big pipe = small prick.
Rised high shifter = -1 ball

I'll have to remember that.
Very funny. -
Exactly what I would expect from a guy who lives in the socialist republic of california (not capitalized deliberately) where it is a God given right to never be offended by anyone. Throw a few compliments, say something condescending and "southern" like "NASCAR" to get the lowly truckers attention and then tell them how they offend you because you bought property in the wrong location.

Sounds like some bodies ol lady ran off with a guy that has a set of straight pipes, a tall shifter and rides on the floor.
