I think it's the constant hustle and stress of finding quality loads that wear on guys like us. That and it's a lot of #### work.

For what it's worth, in the last 2 months all but 2 of my loads were oilfield related.

There is an energy company that owns several older fields around Houston & they have recently contracted 7 work over rigs & one drilling rig to go back to work in one of their fields, after almost 2 years of not doing anything that wasn't absolutely critical.

There's been a bunch of stuff moving out to Pecos, Midland & Odessa. Even seen an uptick in stuff going to south Texas.

Last 2 days in Houston watchin all the cheap freight swirl around me. Just ain't gonna do it.
Packin things up 30sec's from headin home, phone rings Cha Ching, good money heading back to the house.
Yes, things picking up from what I see.
Play poker?, Every week, pull hat down tight, push all them chips in, stand tight. Fun, but yes, wears on you.
What else we gonna do ya know, Start at the bottom of someone else's driver list? hahaha, no don't think so, not me. Come too far.

Just wanted to give an update! Less than a week after I made this thread, things really busted loose. So maybe the freight drought had passed!! Let's hope I didn't jinx it and it keeps up!!
