Don't buy into their BS, they are con artists. There are a ton of threads on TTR about how they screwed O/O's and have no integrity. RUN!

I was leased there from 2014 until Nov 2016. You are better off with your own authority or leasing somewhere else.

 

No, it's not. I worked for them then got my own authority. $800 through OOIDA. Insurance will cost you about $15k the first year. Depending on your revenue, that's about 6-9% of your gross. Factoring (next day payment) will cost you another 3%. They add absolutely no benefit. Just an extra layer that slows things down and costs you at least 10% extra. Just plan for a slow first 60 days because a lot of brokers won't work with you until you get past that mark.

 

So I worked under Farm2Fleet and left in April 2016 and was owed over $8k. Never thought I would see that money. I made it a mission to call Bill everyday. He would answer or call me back. Looking back I can't figure out why he took my calls because I wasn't nice. Don't feel sorry about that.
I did get my money from Maxtrans in June. Had (key word is HAD) friends that worked there after it was sold. It started bad, seemed to get a little better then really started going downhill. Classic example is that they won't take calls after 5 and it is just expected that if you have to call for something then plan on sitting on hold. One of my friends had a second phone just for calling in. He would put it on speaker and then use his other phone to talk to people. I would say BS but witnessed him doing this. Casey answered then phone, made a joke about someone out sick then talked about BS like he was all buddy buddy while his driver was flipping him off and we laughed at him. 20-mins of this (why they are so busy) then he has to go because he needed to go get lunch.

Isn't he the manager? Sounds like he needed to skip lunch and the long conversation.

I have my own authority and work with a lot of the relationships I built up there. Many who loved them don't really care for them anymore. That is what made them really stand out. The rates we got beat the industry. Doesn't sound like that is the case. One good paying company won't use them because of turned back loads and no updates.

And F2F will stay, in name only. My understanding from one of the staff is they have moved Maxtrans trucks under F2F and are now doing full dispatch.

 

I need to be clear. I didn't get paid by Bill but by one of the new owners. They paid me in June. He seemed like a nice guy and said he had a handshake agreement with Bill that he would pay all the drivers that Farm2Fleet owed money to.

 

LMAO, I haven't followed the site but do get all the fb ads. I guess they are moving towards full-dispatch. Bill had a dream that we all got behind. Maxtrans bought it because they believed in the business plan. They had so much belief that they pushed the only people that understood it out and screwed the drivers in the process.

What is next, a Qualcomm? Ding, you have a load. Haaaaaaaa Down the drain it goes.
