I keep hearing about drivers getting other offers after about 6 months into their career. How do these other offers reach you? Through the mail (since I imagine CDL info is in the public record), approached at truck stops, or what? Just curious.
Other driving offers.

If you put a resume on a jobsite..recruiters will get it from that and send offers to your email or even call you

I have also found that the more my network of other drivers and people that know I drive has expanded I get more offers from smaller companies or even owner operators occasionally. Have yet to find one to jump on but it is nice to get that kind of recognition.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
O/P ... I STILL get emails and/or texts from companies that I looked into 10 years ago; probably one of those "bucket" applications I filled out at one point, some companies still sift thru their files, and maybe run my name and see that I'm still "truckin safely?" Not sure~ but if you are looking to jump ship at 6 months in, why don't YOU be proactive instead of reactive, and contact the ones that interest YOU?

^^^^ kinda like putting your name on that "Publisher's Clearing House" when I ordered Reader's Digest many years ago.... still get offers.
