The Powerbox is reading 49 lbs of boost because it's reading that from your manifold pressure guage. That reading that's going through the powerbox to your ECM. Unless your manifold pressure gauge is bad that's how much boost your getting. You don't need a mechanical guage if you have the Powerbox.
If your on power level 7 and are making 49 lbs your running over 700 hp

I wouldnt doubt hes over 800hp at the crank.
-
Nope sorry guys your misunderstanding. I crossed the wires on the boost sensor to get more fuel. I need to put a mechanical gauge on it to get proper readings
-
that's a no no
The Powerbox is not designed to work with any modifications to your manifold pressure sensor. It already modifies the signal it's given to improve response. Now your stacking that code to the ECM. That explains your smoke. I'd be real nervous driving like that having no idea what my boost is -
once again I say... someone needs to support the factory reman programs..
-
If you wanted that kind of power you should have bought a compbox instead of a powerbox. That will take your cats 475 injector pulse to 775 hp
-
but...you'll probably fry it
-
Your engine can only take so much cylinder pressure
-
Not like it's a KTTA or anything

Im gonna plumb in a mech gauge when I get it back. I like the smoke and it pulls good. so im gonna see where its at as far as boost. Probably upgrade the turbo next
