I have an epson xp 430 .... have never had a problem with it.

Brother Pocket Jet 6 wireless and inkless. Uses thermal paper. Same as Smokey Bear uses. Can't print color. Black and white is all I need. Paper cost about 20 bucks for 1200 sheets. Wireless or use with usb cable.
New it cost $300 used I bought 2 at state auction cost $75 used. Will sell. plus shipping.
I used ink cartridge for years. Problem with them and the northern winter the ink would freeze and not last very long.

Just go to Staples or Office Max or wherever and pick up the cheapest on sale printer they have. I like Brother printers and have always managed to get a new one for about $75. You don't need a jazzy $300 printer bouncing around in your truck. It's only going to last about 3 or 4 years before you have throw it out and get a new one anyways due to that abuse.
