So what is the mic gain for????? Got one of each radio, no limiters, no splatters, no distortion. Why how could that be???? Because I know what a mic gain is for and how to use it. Clipping the limiter is probably not a good idea generally, but making inaccurate statements like the above is not educational or informative and just further confuses the issue. (the issue being over modulated radios run by bozos that don't know what they are doing!!!)

Do you kno were ican buy the knobs and push bottons for the Galaxy pluto
-
Can someone help me out looking for push bottons as well as knobs for a pluto
-
I bought mine from a local mobile CB shop that has disappeared. The turns knobs are all black except for one chrome one, and the push buttons are all chrome except for one black one. I recommend calling around local shops and see what they have. Seems these radios are getting obsolete with the cosmetic stuff.

Only problem I had with mine in the nineties was it kept breaking solder joints at the board other then that it was a good radio.
Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
That's a lot of money for a 15 year old radio.
You can get this radio shipped to your front door direct from the manufacturer, for the same price and it won't drift on Side Band like the Galaxy will.
