Anybody had their hands on one of these? The specs look good, but what I'm specifically wondering about is whether the fitting that holds the stinger is a standard 3/8-24 thread. I've got an idea I want to try out if I can find a mid-coil antenna like the A-10 or the WIlson that would let me fit a QD or fold-over on the stinger.

I contacted Stryker and they say 3/8-24 on both sides of the coil so a standard QD or foldover should work.

ERIC said he was talking 18 miles on those strykers, I do that with my Wilson 2000.

It's kind of hard to beat this four-foot fire stick antenna.
