I have ResMed airsence 10.
You should try and get the Dreamstaion AUTO. Your the perfect example of sleep test not going so good. You should be able to change the air pressure yourself even on the basic CPAP, but you would have change it every night trying to figure out the setting yourself by looking at your sleep data. If you get the Auto it will adjust as your sleeping and on every breath.
Almost all insurance pays for CPAP using a code system. The reason you would be interested in this is because insurance pay the same price for CPAP setup. A standard CPAP vs auto CPAP is same price for insurance. The medical supply place makes more money if they sell you a standard CPAP vs auto CPAP because they are getting the paid the same set price usually.

Look at ResMed CPAP it your health insurance money. Resmed had built in wireless modem they have nice setup also. If insurance is paying they would usually pay for ResMed or Dreamstaion. I have ResMed and it nice machine

What does the comliance report say that you take when you get your physical? Does it have an AHI number?

I'm going to ask my doctor for an auto, but what should I do if she refuses and I end up with a standard one? The reason I ask is because they said my calibration could be off because I didn't sleep so well at the study, but they did not ask me to come back so I guess an hour of sleep was enough to find me a pressure?? Idk lol.. This whole stuff has given me a headache.

Wow dude, I've been through a lot more with this crap and didn't complain, this is a PIA and you have it easy compared to others and myself.
So I am telling you what the facts are, this isn't something you can say to your doc, "it ain't working" to get it adjusted because when you get that DOT physical and they ask for results of your machine (which they can) and only see nothing but pressure spikes, it screws everything up.
I told you this is only set through a sleep study, that your doc can't adjust it unless he/she has the results of what is called a base line which is what I described before. It takes more than 2 hours just to get that.
and if you think I'm telling you this because I want to bash you, don't think that I want you to succeed with this issue.UKwildcatfan Thanks this. -
I guess I will just go to my appointment Thursday and tell her I didn't sleep the best, and see what she wants to do. If she still insists on giving me the CPAP I will try it I guess and take it from there. Thanks.

The machine in the link looks just like mine. The biggest pain in the butt is the dial used for "typing" in the info for the bluetooth... (turn turn turn push... turn turn turn turn push) Otherwise, it is simple and quiet to use, love mine!

Find a new doctor? If the doctor will not add one word on the script they write out whan else is (s)he omitting? Not like it's a different machine with different capabilities. It simply has one additional feature the dr. can lock down later if needed.
