Chances are you are trying to rush and do things too fast. Slow down on both your shifting and all maneuvering and things will fall into place.. slow is smooth and smooth is quick

Just tell them you want an automatic, they have plenty.. the operating centers are full with trucks sitting everywhere.. that's why I can't get a good parking spot
-
I cannot tell exactly what are my issues. Sometimes,I m just unable to shift.thanks for the advice
-

I am just afraid that by telling that they will just send me home instead. I will see if they give that option19d and SingingWolf Thank this. -
When I started I asked for manual and got an automatic, you have to really mess up for Schneider not to take you.. They hire people with license that say only automatic.. your good.. just say I feel safer if I can have an auto and it will be done
-
The only way you'll get sent home is if you fail the drug test.
It's ok to be rusty at shifting, you're just starting out. Relax and take it one day at a time
stevep1977 and 19d Thank this. -
Current load is 4,000lbs of styrofoam cups, heading for Denver. Supposed to be there by 7am tomorrow. Should have gotten in tonight, staged to deliver in the morning. NOPE! 50mph winds across Kansas, so my ### is parked. Lovely. Should die off around 8pm, so I guess I'm somehow magically supposed to sleep now after being up for 2 hours and ready to go straight in tonight. LOL.

If you came from Texas, why would you go up through kansas?
-
At the house leaving out tomorrow.

Going 287 might technically be 70 miles shorter, and the Qualcomm thinks its great, but it's not any quicker if you scoot through OKC late at night, which I did yesterday. Still would have been shut down for wind that way, regardless. It was gusting 70 by Limon and was windy all across Texas.
