I would go with Swift there are guys on youtube i watch that are making 60k+ the 2nd year with them on dedicated routes and home every weekend. Yeah swift has a lot of idiot drivers but they are the largest carrier any large company not just trucking will have a lot of bad employees. They have to be doing something right if they are still the biggest company out there.
Western Express or Swift?

Well I don't like they have a camera that is in your face 24/7 watching what you are doing.

I would go Schneider bulk but I don't live in Texas. I am in the NW.
Freymiller won't take me without a four hour refresher. (About $500 bucks at the local truck school) Swift offered a rite aid dedicated but apparently lot of moving pallets and driving. That offered daily home time with the occasional run to Utah but read they have old equipment for that account and they push you a lot to deliver on time.Last edited: Mar 3, 2017
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
At there advertised starting pay you would have had to run 5729 miles in a week if my math is correct. Was that all in one week or are you doing something special. Would love to see that pay stubRocknroller4, diesel drinker and crazybread Thank this.

I would also like to see your pay stub to.
diesel drinker Thanks this. -
I got 100 from the week before and also had an 800 mile load that rolled over. They had 4 loads stacked at a time, and every time I'd get close to my final they would drop another one on me. Haven't had a load less than 1200 miles since last week. Heading home for 4 days of home time finally. That's an 800 mile load.MidwestResident and Chinatown Thank this.

I don't have a problem with it because I don't drive like an #######. The camera also doesn't broadcast. It records 15 seconds and then records over the previous recording. Unless you trigger it, they don't see what happens. I've set it off a few times hard braking and things like that. No big deal.
Rather not have the driver facing camera, but it is what it is. I'm making what is to me good money. Small price to pay for me right now.crazybread Thanks this. -
I am happy for you that you are making good money for yourself and your family. I was just unsure about the whole camera thing and that was the reason why I did not pick swift. How long have have you been driving for them?

So not really 1 weeks pay.
