I need a tarp storage rack!

How do you think east mounts the toolboxes? They drill holes in the frame. If you are worried about warranty concerns, have an east dealer install a box.

 

They maje a tarp tray for the top of chain rack about 250 dollars

 

If you don't want to spend the money on a box, cut a piece of 3/4 inch plywood that fits across the frame rails. But it's a pain to climb under the trailer every time you need to grab your tarps.

 

I just keep mine on the deck. If i load something that required the entire deck i get the fork lift pair to stick them up on the freight. Only on insulation loads is that not possible.

 

If you are really worried about drilling the frame, build a rack and mount it to the crossmembers.

 

You should be fine with drilling the frame. Just don't drill through the top or bottom flanges. If you wanted you could contact the manufacturer and see if they have any guidelines regarding size and placement of the holes. They will have specs for how large and how close together the holes can be before you start compromising the structure of the frame.
