CRST 8 month contract...worth breaching?

well now if your a good driver... other then being unhappy i have heard where another company will buy out your remaining amount and transfer the debt to the new company... other then that if you breach the payment amount will go up big time to the full 300 a month or whatever it comes out to like swift does 35.00 a week and they match half so its really 150.00 a month but if you breach the full value of that monthly payment is now yours alone... of course you can pay the remaining amount off yourself either cash or a personal loan just watch the interest rates of that....

Knight will hire you even if you are under contract. You'll have pay for schooling on your own but at least you'll be at a better company and able to drive solo. My friend made the jump and he's betty very happy he did.

 

Edubs, did you get your hard copy cdl (like actually go to the dmv) while in school (before first 28 days with trainer)? Just wondering because I'm about to start with CRST and my recruiter said we take a day and go to the dmv during school, but someone on this site said they got some paper copy of it and went through hell trying to get the hard copy because of some address mixup/dilemma with CRST..any info would help bigtime as I am supposed to start school Monday

 

I am currently sitting at CRSTs OKC terminal. Its Thursday, I made it here Sunday. Before today, I was in a hotel sitting also, before that I was home getting my CDL and had to wait a week to get a rental. I was told Monday to take a Post Training Road Test on Thursday. Thursday arrives and I am told my test has been moved to sometime next week. When next week? Who knows. I have already started doing applications for other companies because this is ridiculous. I have no money because I am making no money and the most I can get on an advance is 250. It's very disheartening to not be able to provide for your family.

 

Do you have a CDL or a CDL Permit?
Which state do you live in?
If you already have a CDL and have been to school, check with Freymiller right there in Oklahoma City. They hire new cdl grads.
Did you complete CRST cdl school and now waiting for a trainer?
