It isn't 24/7 anymore.
The driver facing camera is only on while you are on duty. It shuts off when off duty.

And if that is a problem while you are driving, that is more your problem because you are doing something that you should not be.

I have had the camera for several months now. Many clips have been sent in, but none that I had to account for.
That means that I have been driving safely.
Things like no seat belt. But I was in a yard or something, so it wasn't needed.
Or I went over a pothole and the camera was set off by the jolt.
A couple by hard braking when a light turned red, as I was going the speed limit and simply stopped in time.

I have been living with the drivercam for many months now, and it has yet to bite me.

 

I upgraded to solo mid December. Got my cdl first week of Nov.

 

Not bad at all. How long did it took you to get the stamina to drive for a long time?

 

Well I drove about 30 miles before midnight at the end of the pay period. But if you really wanna spin it, it's not even one month's pay. To hear some people tell it, you won't make that in a month with Swift. I made it in 7 full days, 1.5 of which I spent waiting on a b service.

 

About 3 days with my trainer. The first few times I drove I would get to about 300-350 miles and be like #### we still have 1500 miles to go, how am I supposed to do this?

By the time I was solo I had more than a few 650+ mile days in his 68mph truck. Never looked back.

There are days when I wake up and don't want to drive, but I have goals and I always want to beat last week's paycheck.

 

Not bad at all I would think it would take longer for someone to drive that much from the start.

 

The first few days were all on pretty serious grades in Utah, so those 350 miles were hard earned. I still get tired pretty quickly when driving in bad weather or in the mountains. A lot more draining than driving over flat land for me.

 

This is how you show that A Game. There will always be negative people. Show them a $2000 settlement, and they will swear that you ran illegal. Show them that you're goal oriented, driven and a hard charger and they wont say a word.
