I doubt autonomous vehicles will be half as bad as the majority of people driving today. I don't look forward to finding a new line of work but technology cannot be undiscovered. Think about how cheap we can all buy crap from all over the world if you take out the cost of labor.

If you take out the labor cost how do you get paid. We should all be willing to pay a tad more so people ca. Have decent jobs company care about there works instead of share holders and trying to get $.01 cent or share per quarter

I doubt it ever on the trailers, but now on rail cars where all they do is set the parking brake and install a wheel chock, that process could be automated.

The Tesla driver posted online about his crash before that video surfaced. He tried blaming the car.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/teslamotors/comments/5welnn/my_car_hit_a_barrier_while_i_was_on_autopilot/

This is the original post from the person driving behind the Tesla:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Roadcam/comments/5x1erq/usa_tesla_driver_fails_to_take_control_when_a/

And this is where the other Tesla drivers went full derp.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/teslamotor...cam_footage_of_the_potential_autopilot_crash/

"It happened very fast. I can see someone driving without AP making the same mistake."

"Reaction time + time to move foot to the brake is probably longer than the time driver had to see the barrier."

"To be fair, there was nothing to really give the feel of a construction zone other than some orange signs to the right"

a bunch of Tesla Homers, no doubt! Blame everything on the road, as if the craniorectal inversion had nothing to do with it...
