And I hear Trump is laying plans for fixing the roads and bridges.
How many of us will be complaining big time over the next few years as that takes place?
All the construction is slowing me down, etc...
And a few years later it will be done, and we will have good roads again.
Then we will need something else to complain about.
Remember all the road construction in the Salt Lake City area? Well, just south.
It went on for years, but now it is quite pleasant to drive with all the lanes.
(A car crashed right next to me during that construction. Came in on an on ramp and thought I would move over in heavy traffic, then tried to speed up to get in front. It didn't work so well for that car as it slammed on the brakes and hit the right side barrier.) -
Indiana (I-80) is terrible. Arizona is pretty bad west of Flagstaff (putting rough road signs everywhere is not a fix for the roads). Pennsylvania, I-81 north of Wilkes-Barre is terrible.
Smoothest: I think it's I-75 in TN. Freshly repaved, smooth as butter. Probably the best road I ever drove on. Pitch black when driving at night but they have reflectors everywhere so you can see.bzinger Thanks this. -
Southern Tier is bad from PA border to Bath, and then 88 is bad in spots. The one section they did rebuild was probably the worst I've seen in the US. It's not often you see mowable grass growing in the roadway.
