70% usage over 30 days. So 21 days.
4 hours a night to be a valid usage for that day.tscottme and UKwildcatfan Thank this. -
Do you know about AHI? Or do they just look at usage?
-
I have never heard of them asking about AHI, but remember that CPAP compliance is 100% company directed. What one company requires another may not.
-
AHI number is what the DOT doc looks for and it only matters if it isn't working for you.
SO again, please try out the unit, as you asked 30 days seems to be a good time period and also lose some **** weight, try nutriasystems or some other pre-packaged diet program - STICK TO IT and lose the weight.UKwildcatfan and UsualSuspect Thank this. -
Thinking of trying the low carb route, but kind of skeptical. I mean, how can all the meat, cheese and bacon you want be healthy? You know what I mean?
-
OMG, just go here.

$10 a day. -
The Dr's. are getting the pressure from the FMCSA to press the Sleep apnea testing. NOT the companies. You will need 80% compliance is what I was told to be good. Which is what? 6.5 days of 4 hours of usage? You must have 4 hours of usage for that day for it to count. This is what I have been told for my experience... Yours may be different.

Not true....
My company has nothing to do with my dot physical... I have the card read and bring that to my doctor when i get my physical done. It is an fmcsa compliance. -
4 hrs a night, 70% of days. Day runs 12pm to 12pm.
You can download a free program called Sleepyhead and get your readout yourself. Take it in with you to your physical.
If your company has other guidelines, follow them, but the above is the requirement for a MedCard.
