Sounds a lot better, nothing worst then a driver saying look at this other driver messing up. When in less time he could've just helped him ya know.

Baking the DPF is not allways the solution.
Sometimes it is better to put in a new one.
A 2010.....so without or with DEF? -

I'm a little confused. The doser nozzle and doser block are in the DEF delivery system. Our 2010s have DEF, but again, I work on Cummins engines.
You were pretty upset in your post, are you sure you quoted your shop mechanic correctly?
Also daf105 brings up a good point about baking the dpf isn't always the answer. If the dpf is cracked internally, the sensors read the abnormal air flow as soot load and trigger a regen. If this is the case then you need a new filter. The cracks are difficult to detect visually; some sort of testing equipment exists but I've never seen it. We're a fleet shop, so we just replace suspected cracked ones and ship them back to Cummins for confirmation. -
I'm not to sure about Cummins,I know my doser injector is on my s pipe on passenger side and doser block is on driver side. I will definitely take replacing filter into consideration thanks

Well, what I was getting at was, you said "no def". If you don't have these components, than you don't have a def system. If you DO, indeed, have these components, then you should be running with def. If you've been running without it then both your DPF and your SCR unit are toast and require replacement. If I misunderstood what you said then I apologize. Good luck.

The "doser block" in question is the fuel doser valve. It contains a solenoid and a fuel pressure sensor. It supplies fuel to the 7th injector "doser." Your issue sounds like a leaking fuel injector that is causing your filter to become restricted. It is a common DD15 issue. Have them start by examining filter again for signs of fuel contamination. For this issue a laptop is pretty much a requirement. Looking at temps. and pressure values help narrow things down.
