    seen on indeed last night, that bnsf railroad has 13 positions open for laborers & cdl truck drivers in nebraska. be good job for any of you young bucks that want a decent paying job with decent benefits and a good retirement. may have to endure a few layoffs in the early years but, would be worth it for a young man.

    They are looking for good people at lots of locations across the nation, most all year long. But it often involves many weeks/months living in hotels 500 miles from home.

    But yes. Good pay, benefits for honest day's work, some of it hard work (as in "general labor")

    you aint kidding, when i started the union pacific in the 80s we had some power tools but still lotsa heavy labor. kinda miss it now & then, like a workout everyday.

    One of my cousins works for them as a conductor (he's currently on medical leave due to an accident)and he enjoyed it.
