    Actually rabbi...
I cant get it outta my head that i should have the same as my tall mount made..Longer and have top threaded for coil to screw in and on bottom have it threaded for a stud to screw in for ant stud and feed line to connect to..
With my lack on know how on this i see it as a taller 10k with more mass, feed line and ground in same place with a more secure mount....
I could be way off and 100% wrong on this idea but its buggin the crap outta me...
Add the fact all that swayng im seeing from my 10k now and that wimpy whip curled straight up in the wind..
I know i have software that came with my arrl bible but its all lost in me..

Posting these cause it may help someone, I did this setup on back my freightliner. I used some spare shafts I found on garbage trucks at a yard and raised my Wilson. 1.1 1.0 and 1.1 swr Useing a cheap truck stop meter. When Useing swr in radio it shows 1.0 across the board. I've repeatedly transmitted and received up to 12 miles very good. It may get alittle further not sure.

Dont let a good swr think all is well...Its usually not....
There is more to ant theory than i know but have it tuned with an analyzer to see..A good tech can tweek it for much better results..
Go to a site and browse some subjects and teach yourself some stuff..well worth it..

I think that was 39"...the one on the bottom was a 22, and I wanna say a 10 then a 7, as the 7 is what comes with the oil coil.

Now I'm running a 44 and a 10, 54 total. Reached out 10+ miles mobile to mobile with my little uniden 122 and a bunch of garbage static noise from the tires at speed. Guy on the other end was surprised when I called out my location, he thought I sounded much closer .

Thats basically my odea but useing a 10k coil, top mast and whip..
Lower part would be my tall mount threaded for coil on top and ant stud on bottom..
My idea would just be more robust..

Oh and im a day away from home..I know im close cause my beer just text me sayin hurry home..

I like your extension. It has it's uses. This would work nice on top of the extension.
