Call safe lite, have them drill and fill the chip 35.00, tell the man to pay you, you just got a lesson really cheap.

Then he has to pay you. I only brought up OSD because sometimes there is damage to the cargo, in this case your car on your truck. I thought maybe you knew about it in concept. I am sorry if I confused.

Signed by buyer? BOL says pay you. He owes you. Signing indicates that goods are delivered and without damage.

Does he not have to pay the freight charges and then issue a claim?
What are the laws regarding terms of carriage in the US?

Did the dealer write the damage on the bol or is he just saying the chip is there to avoid paying you?

By law he has to pay the freight bill. Then file a claim. If he doesn't do that you can sue for the freight. Sounds as if it isn't worth it though.

As mentioned above, probably not the first time he has played this game & he is suppose to meet the terms of payment. Damages, complaints or mood swings on his part are a complete separate deal.
Yes you are suppose to note all damages on gate pass as proof issues were there before transport.
Though have read where people were not able to retrieve said gate passes a week later when a dealer tried to play games & it is time consuming writing all of the stuff down.
Ask the dealer how much it will cost to have a brick through every windshield on the lot including showroom? See if his sense of humor changes?

Report Shipper. Let's create Black List.

We do not use power we have. There are much less car carrier drivers than Market needs

INFORM EACH OTHER, ##** THEM ALL. ##** THOSE SHIPPERS

I EVEN KNOW THAT DEALERS TRY TO GET YOU INTO ACCIDENT SO INSURANCE CAN PAY FOR THEIR TRASH CAR.

SHARE HERE PHONE NUMBER OF THAT ###***
