3 for an 8 foot piece is not necessary legally, but it sure isn't hurting anything.[/QUOTE]

I think perhaps you meant "not necessarily legally required".....

Let's face it: oversecuring is NEVER illegal; and often simply the correct thing to do.

    Me 3.
Overkill everything. Then in the dark or when the mirrors are greased over you KNOW it's gonna stay put. tmp_26159-IMG_20170215_174053515-1498803484.jpg The guy who was loading the same thing next to me threw 3 straps over the top on each length of his pipe. And kinda chuckled looking at mine.
The funny thing was when he showed up at the same job site 1,400 miles later he had twice the number of straps on then when he left.
    My turn to chuckle.
Is it any harder to do things right from the get go?

Just want to chime in again to say that the last two pages are exactly why I enjoy spending time here.

Good, sharp people sharing ideas back and forth. And when there is a difference of opinion, it is respectful and backed up by facts.

Thank you, guys. I learned a lot from you just reading your last two pages of posts.

Not real real often I get out nearly as many chains as straps. IMG_20170308_143547278_HDR.jpg
