Any and all info is appreciated.
We have a 2010 Kenworth T800 with this engine. She has about 687K on her now. We're having issues with crankcase high pressure and the coolant tank over pressurizing. We've replaced the air compressor, had the egr cooler checked and cleaned and replaced the crankcase filter. Could it be the head or head gasket? Also, when the fan cuts on, the pressure in the coolant tank backs down. This all happens before she gets to running temp????

Putting one back together now. Same milage. #5 coolant passage made a "river passage" to cylinder.

Total rebuild?

Sounds like a scored liner.

Sorry. Should have given more. Head gasket failed.
