You got a light loads from Lowe's in Cheyenne?
My last load from there was pushing 80K and was 33950 on the trailer with the tandems ALL THE WAY BACK!

It was just under 40k, and I had the tandems in the 8th hole. So yes, I guess it was light.
I've had them like you, where the tandems have to be all the way back. It really sucks.

I left Cheyenne a bit before 0430 to get ahead of the winds. It worked. A couple hours after I went through the restriction for light weight and high profile vehicles went back up.
I delivered at around 1330 with no problems.

My next load was an empty trailer move to Worland, WY. Just about 400 miles.
Just after I left I got the real pplan, picking up at Crown and going to Commerce, CA.
That one is a can load, so a nice very light load.

So do I, until I get in SoCal.
I don't like it down there at all.

Socal is my nemesis. 8 out of 10 I have to do socal stuff to get back to Vegas. And where do the like to send me when I get off? But I'm completely comfortable with it.

I'm at Scentsy in Copple TX. Still on Vancation.

Call me crazy, but I would take SoCal anyway over the Bay Area.

    Moosetek13 and FerrissWheel Thank this.

Admittedly I'm just sick of socal. I'd rather do NYC if I got payed for putting up with it. Then I'd probably be saying the same in reverse. Either way you look at it, bay area, LA , NYC. If ya gotta go in there, you already know it's gonna be a massive time suck if it's the wrong time of day.

I'm just still pissed, about the Mira Loma-Compton- Otay -vegas run. All day, stop and go, speed up to 45- put back in Lo gear and creep some more. Oh no, we are at a dead stop. Oh no, another dead stop. Oh yay, I made it to Otay with less than an hour left. But the bay area does compete in the traffic Olympics with the best of em.

Bates???? And that's true of most places. When the tourists aren't mixing in Vegas locals drive like 80mph. Especially on I515. I215 generally has more speed traps.
