Our fleet has probably 20 volvos with d13's in them. Several had the oil filter housing leak, the oil pressure sensors leak, and several had cams that went down, bad lobes wearing and messing up. It may have been from the overheads going too long, but it's happened on several. My truck currently has 604k, on original injectors, turbo, bearings, etc. I don't idle but maybe 1% a day, and I can go 300k on a dpf filter before cleaning.
Thr truck uses zero oil, coolant and has been pretty much trouble free minus the cam under warranty and the oil filter housing, and oil pressure sensor. I treat this truck well, and it runs well I return, in spite of 30k maintenance intervals.
