so I go off road a lot in my line of work so my radio takes a beating. So my question is how often should I have my radio checked?

There are places in this great country where the interstate system is as bad or worse than going off road, and some of us have radios that are still working fine 10+ years. I was heading south on I 65 ( about 8 yrs ago) in Kentucky near the Pilot at mm 105, and the right lane used to be so bad ( still isnt great) that I hit a bump so bad that my Galaxy 929 came flying out of the cubby hole, hit me in the head, and was just hanging by the coax, now that is bad, Indiana is pretty bad also even though they are slowly working on improvements.
