Where do you get a bee suit?
-
here........... -
I've hauled one load of bees probably 10 years ago to Minnesota. Never got out of the truck while loading or unloading they did it all. Had to have permits and routing for the load. Had specific daytime hours to drive and no stopping during the day. The key is keeping the queen alive. They don't care about the worker bees the queen is the one worth the money. It's an easy gig just make sure you don't eat anything that doesn't agree with you lol.

Anyone know the rates for hauling bees?
-
Bet you didn't have any trouble with keeping idiots away from you while hauling them. I would avoid such a load like the plague. I've never heard of or seen a bee load before. That's crazy. Bet it pays #### good though.

My I chime in? I got stung up the other day at a fuel stop. Couldn't even get back to my truck because the van in front of me had them. Didn't seem right for them to take a 30 right there.

Weather, temp all play parts. If you would like to retain account start with full fuel. If it iss hot start driving when you you see bees starting to come out (50 degrees ish in sunlight 530am depending on time of year) do not stop until sun is gone. (Bees use sun to navigate, take that away..... ) if it is hot outside you must stop for fuel carry a long hose give them something to drink as well. Main rule is do not stoo! They need the airflow. If you need to take a leak find an on/off ramp you have a few mins. Always communicate with keepers slow downs. If they tell you a certain time to arrive that should meam they looked at the weather. Do what they say. I do recomment a beesuit &jacket. .. in case of blowout. Fall and early spring are usually easier.
